About the Role

As a part of the outbound demand generation team, you will own the email channel to generate demand by building and growing a prospect database. You will build out our database by sourcing leads from our targeted accounts as well as those that fall within our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP). You will develop qualifying nurture drips to engage with the prospects and convert them into MQLs. You will collaborate with other channel managers to offer email support for all channels and campaigns. You will create and maintain the email calendar for all our segments. You will run experiments to continually optimize the email channel for performance. You will own a revenue contribution for the email channel.

  • Develop multi-touch email drip campaigns for all our verticals, segments and personas to engage our prospects and move them through the funnel to generate a steady and predictable flow of MQLs every month
  • Collaborate with other channel managers to build the pre and post-campaign email strategy to maximize campaign ROI
  • Be the expert on subject-line testing, optimizing email body formats for maximizing clicks, and segmenting the database for optimized performance
  • Continually run tests to optimize performance
  • Develop a KPI framework for the email channel
  • Build out our email program and scale it into a revenue generating channel with predictable MQL and bookings
  • Own monthly and quarterly goals for MQLs, originated and influenced bookings for the email channel
  • QA emails, forms, landing pages, flows and more by being hands-on with the various technologies in the Martech stack
  • Collaborate closely with our remote Marketing Ops team to implement email programs
  • Own, build and maintain email calendar for all vertical, segments, campaigns and channels
  • Analyze data to determine ways to optimize performance KPIs
  • Use a combination of Outreach and Market to build out a database of cold leads, converting them into opt-in leads, and then engaging with them to qualify them and convert them

About You 

  • 5+ years of email marketing experience in a SaaS or software company
  • Experience building, growing, and maintaining a database of 200K+ leads
  • Proven prior success of building and running a revenue generating email channel
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing best practices
  • Expertise in A/B testing concepts like significance and confidence
  • Deep expertise in email A/B testing
  • Strong email copywriting skills
  • Deep expertise in Marketo, Outreach, Salesforce, contact database services like Zoominfo, Exacttarget, Discovery Org etc., AI assistants like Conversica and other related tools
  • Strong project management and communication (verbal and presentation) skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field
