What you will do

The Regional Sales Manager is a key sales role that reports to the Tyco Cloud National Sales Director and physically resides within the assigned region. This role is responsible for meeting and exceeding assigned sales quotas by prospecting with Manufacturing Representatives, Integrators, Distributors and end users to close new Tyco Cloud business. The Regional Sales Manager will respond to inbound leads, deliver product demonstrations, provide product selection assistance and system design, generate quotes, process orders, write proposals and job bids, and work trade shows. As a member of this team, you will work in a dynamic environment that provides a high-level of exposure and influence for the leading edge technology of Tyco Security Products.

As a Regional Sales Manager you handle multiple projects well, guiding integrators and prospects toward the best solution for their needs and effectively manage multiple stake holders. You believe that the best work is done in teams. You manage multiple priorities simultaneously because of your excellent planning, organization and time management skills. You are intellectually curious – driving continual learning. You also understand that internal and external collaboration drives improvement and best practices. 

What we look for


  • 5+ years of experience in outside sales
  • Verifiable success in high activity outside sales
  • Discipline to work from home with little supervision
  • Suitable home office with high speed internet access
  • Public speaking experience and experience leading training sessions
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time


  • Experience with video surveillance systems
  • Experience in the physical security industry
  • Experience with Cloud based services
  • Working knowledge of SalesForce CRM
  • Knowledge of Local and Wide Area Networks
