We are currently seeking Network Engineers to support multiple client sites in Scott Air Force Base in Illinois, Hill Air Force Base in Utah and Ford Island in Hawaii.

Responsibilities for candidates with 2 years of experience include but not limited to:

  • Evaluate system network requirements and make appropriate technical recommendations.
  • Proficiency with Cisco and Juniper networking devices to include: Establishing remote management connectivity, updating the operating systems, coordinating and performing verification testing, configuring alarm thresholds and system profiles, and configuring/testing various layers of the OSI model.
  • Assist IA personnel regarding network security and maintenance. Ensure that the network configuration meets all IA requirements.
  • Monitor network performance.
  • Knowledge of IP principles

Responsibilities for candidates with 3 years of experience include but not limited to:

  • Proficiency with performing pro-active monitoring of network element alarms and alerts identifying components/elements that lead to or already are causing network degradation or failure
  • Assist IA personnel regarding network security and maintenance
  • Monitor network availability and reliability
  • Knowledge of IP principles or TDM, ATM, and Optical networking principles
  • Maintains logs and records associated with reported problems and make appropriate technical recommendations





Basic Qualifications:

  • IA 8140 Security + or equivalent required at start
  • Between 2 and 3 years of experience
  • o With 2 years of experience, one of the following certifications: BICSI Installer 1
  • With 3 years of experience, one of the following certifications: BICSI Installer 2 – Copper or BICSI Installer 2 - Fiber
  • Active DoD Top Secret with SCI eligibility
  • Proficiency with IP/transport specific management tools (EMS)
  • Experience in remotely configuring networking devices
  • Proficiency with Security Technical Implementation Guidance (STIG) for network devices
  • Familiar with Type I and Type III network encryption devices
  • Perform fault isolation and diagnostic to determine the corrective action(s) in real-time
  • Advanced Networking techniques: port aggregation, IPSEC, L2TP/VPN, IPS route-maps and capture filters, plus routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, RIP), VLANs, ACLs, and multicasting
  • Ability to work in a team focused, dynamic environment.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Expertise in IP technologies and methodologies and Voice platforms, Call Manager, Unity, VOIP gateways, SIP, Dialing plans, and Cisco Unified Boundary Element
  • Expertise in IP technologies; i.e. Networking architectures, methodologies and Voice Services
  • Proficiency in at least one of the following tools: Solarwinds or JunOS Space
  • CCNA, CCNP or JNCIA certification is desired
  • ITIL v3 Foundation

Physical Requirements:

Most work will be done at a desk or computer.

Work Environment:

General Office environment. The work environment is fast-paced and sometimes involves extreme deadline pressures. The nature of the work requires a high degree of teamwork and cooperation with other members of the staff as well as individuals across the Company and Customers.

Equipment & Machines:

General office equipment including PC/laptop, Fax, Copiers, Shredder, Printers, Telephone, and other miscellaneous office equipment.


Attendance is critical at all times. Must be able to work a 40-hour workweek, normally Monday through Friday. However, times and days may vary depending on business requirements. Needs to be available to work overtime during critical peaks and be available to meet last minute requests for overtime should the situation occur.

Must be well-organized with the ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously. Must work well under pressure to meet deadline requirements. Must be willing to travel as needed. Must take and pass a drug test and background check as well as a motor vehicle records check. Must be a US citizen.
