The Analyst within the Data Analytics Division will be responsible for working on data analytics projects that gather and integrate large volumes of data. This position will also perform analysis, interpret results and develop actionable insights and recommendations to improve the effectiveness within our Investment Management Division. This position will be a key member of the Data Analytics and AI Strategy Team. Responsibilities: Partner with various stakeholders within the Investment Management and Technology Divisions to gather reporting and analytics requirements to support the development of business analytics Analyze high-level business requirements and translate them into detailed data and functional requirements Interpret data and analyze results using various query and statistical techniques and tools Design and build reporting solutions utilizing Alteryx, Tableau and other BI tools Enable leaders to make informed, data driven decisions by presenting data and analysis in a clear and concise manner allowing the audience to quickly understand the results Work closely with across various business teams and the Technology division to identify data issues and develop processes to maintain data integrity Assist in the development of data governance processes Refine data and reporting processes for maximum efficiency Provide routine and ad hoc reporting to various level of leadership Provide training and support to end-user groups Maintain internal reporting portal In support of a team environment, other duties as necessary Requirements: Bachelor’s degree required (Finance, Business Management, Data Analytics or related field) Excellent computer skills, including proven experience with Alteryx development and administration, Tableau development and administration, SQL, and Microsoft Office suite Strong analytic skills with the ability to extract, collect, organize, analyze and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets Data management and analytics experience Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Strong business acumen with aptitude to learn the business Demonstrated success in team oriented work environment with a balance of collaboration and individual contribution. Innately curious, strong critical thinker and a growth mindset Strong attention to detail, problem solving skills and ability to work in a fast paced environment Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously with limited supervision Preferred: Knowledge of financial services industry focused on the Investment Management data sets Knowledge of data architect, data staging and ETL concepts and tools Experience in advanced analytics and statistics
