Covers Asia Pacific markets and affiliates The position is based in Singapore with limited/ no travel required. You work with… Regional FP&A teams, Global Trading & APAC Finance Director and APAC CFO Markets FP&A teams and CFO’s in the region The focus … Financial Planning & Analysis Support APAC Finance Director in the region’s annual/ quarterly financial planning and budgeting exercises Manage the region’s monthly and bi-quarterly flash exercises, co-ordinate with the markets on timely submissions, consolidation of APAC results and prepare financial commentaries. Gather and organize financial data to provide detailed analysis on variances Prepare financial reports with reliable conclusions that management can use to implement more effective operational strategies Investigate and provide analysis for monthly revenue fluctuations and expenditure increases/decreases. Provide comments on variances between actual results vs monthly forecast by markets and for the regions. Produce brand financials on each reporting cycle to the regional brand leads. Support APAC Finance Director in preparation of financial slides for presentation to global leadership team. Support the APAC Financial Director in developing strategic action plans for markets achieving financial and business targets of the APAC markets Act as key liaison to market CFOs and finance teams on APAC FP&A and reporting requirements Monitor APAC working capital, collections, process and capital expenditure Assist in APAC review and prepare bi-quarterly working capital report to Global Act as key liaison on KHALIX (Financial database) information and reporting requirements Attending to ad-hoc projects, as required Business Controllership Support APAC CFO and work with IPG Controllership team to manage audit issues in the markets. Actively follow up on key audit issues highlighted by controllership team, keep APAC CFO updated on status and make sure issues are resolved on time. Perform Balance Review for key markets. Focus mainly on WIP, AR, AP accruals and provisions. Actively follow up with markets on overdue accruals and provisions and update APAC CFOs on the status and impact on the P&L. Skills & Attributes:- Self-starter, keen learner, multi-tasking and independent individual with high analytical skills. Flexible to adapt to changing reporting requirements and willing to work on improving reporting process and efficiency. Strong writing skills to present clear financial commentaries to senior leadership. Strong Hyperion, Excel and Powerpoint skills a must.
