ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Discussing and solving complex problems with manufacturing departments, sub-contractors, suppliers and customers
  • Planning and designing new production processes.
  • Develop test strategies, processes and detailed documented procedures to ensure quality and efficient manufacturing processes.
  • Recommend design modifications to eliminate system malfunctions.
  • Manage regular monitoring/reporting and reviews of project objectives, schedules and achievement of key milestones as required.
  • Provide ongoing technical support and training to manufacturing personnel.
  • Analysis of the data found in charts, graphs and other forms of measuring information.
  • Design Jigs to Production or our T.K supplier to improve our quality and production process.

Reports to the Manager of Systems & Jigs, Engineering.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • BSc in Mechanical or Optic Engineering with minimum of 5 years’ overall experience.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes including assembly and test
  • Must be able to create and implement assembly/process documentation and provide training to personnel
  • Experience working with a PLM and CAD system such as solid works
  • Fast learning curve
