About this opportunity

Temporary position for 8 months 

We are looking for a Technical Training BP, to lead the global technical training development projects for our global technical teams. This, in order to help our internal teams to have professional knowledge on demand, any time any place. The Technical Training BP will work hand-in-hand with the internal stakeholders to ensure that the training deliverables support the business roadmap.

We are looking for an Instructional Designer with a Project Management background and experience from global technological multidisciplinary companies.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating training and certification plans on a variety of corporate business applications and web-based products. The daily tasks will allow the Technical Training BP to work closely with the program managers, product managers, engineering management, and a diverse group of cross-functional teams including software, marketing, and clinical education.

In this role, you will…

• Developing a training plan for certification and new products
• Managing training delivery and evaluation
• Leading change-management projects
• Engaging stakeholders and team members
• Creating engaging learning activities and compelling course content
• Working with subject matter experts (SME)
• Applying tested instructional-design theories, practice, and methods
• Developing video content
• Developing e-learning material
• Developing learning games
• Writing knowledge items to the global KMS
• Identifying gaps in current processes and working on improvements
• Dependability: Ability to work independently, meets commitments, accepts accountability, handles change, sets personal standards, stays focused under pressure.
• Initiative: Tackles problems and takes independent action, seeks out new responsibilities, acts on opportunities, generates new ideas, practices self-development

QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to build relationships and work across a multi‑functional organization
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to perform under pressure, while developing sound implementation approaches that solve the business problem or environment that they support – an advantage

In this role, you’ll need …

• Experience with training project/program management (minimum 2 years)
• Experience with training and knowledge-transfer theories (MUST)
• Experience as an Instructional Designer/Trainer at a high-tech company (2-4 years)
• Experience with instructional-design tools such as Articulate (Strong Advantage)
• MA in Organizational Consulting or an MBA - A plus
• Experience with SW or product implementation (advantage)

WORK SCHEDULE / HOURS

Regular Israel business operating hours, and must have the flexibility to work additional hours as needed, to meet with Align’s U.S., Costa Rica, and/or International teams.

International travel may be required from time-to-time.

SKILLS REQUIRED: LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English
