Supports the development of international tax planning strategies by developing business facts; researching tax rules; performing technical analysis; writing supporting memoranda; preparing tax technical quantification models; and developing PowerPoint transaction step plans. Manage the execution of international tax planning by modeling, updating tax analysis, and working with tax leadership; demonstrating an understanding of increasingly complex tax concepts; discussing moderately complex tax issues with the business teams; and keeping informed of current tax developments and effectively apply tax knowledge to customer situations. Prepare practical and effective approaches to customers' situations and arrive at appropriate conclusions by sharing tax planning ideas with others as appropriate; participating in and contributing to achieving team goals; participating in the development of recommendations and implementation plans; and assisting in making quality decisions in complex areas. Develop work plans for approved projects and manage projects through design and implementation by working, communicating, and coordinating with outside advisors and internal stakeholders in proceeding toward timely and successful completion of projects; collaborating with other areas within Tax (for example, Compliance, Reporting, Defense) as well as with Legal and with local-country tax teams outside the United States; building customer relationships and demonstrating knowledge of the business; and serving as a tax liaison with Accounting, International Finance, Global Controllership, Treasury and other departments.
