What you’ll do...

  • Handle Security incidents in a effective and proactive manner, employing your tribes skills to best effect, leading the CSIRT process
  • Building/writing playbooks / runbooks
  • Collaboration with different Tribes and suppliers to coordinate deliverables
  • Translating tech language into commercial language
  • Taking complete ownership of incident response / resolution
  • Creating incident response processes
  • Implementing incident response processes
  • Handle Security crises, as they arise, and with minimal downtime to the business
  • Creation of Round Table exercises, between blue team and red team
  • Being the focal point of contact for all Security Incidents

How you'll do it…

  • Facilitate and guide Security Operations team of analysts, vulnerability, incident response and platform tools experts together with external MSSP, threat hunting and security tools providers to ensure the delivery of effective, integrated 24x7 services.
  • Improve and continuously develop the Security Operations framework and tools to keep aligned with the ever changing Technology and threat landscape that may impact Sky Betting and Gaming.
  • Perform cyber and security investigations, incident response, coordinate with specialist third party suppliers as required.
  • Use Security tribe processes and technologies to manage the services provided and provide a continuous training and testing program of operational controls (Red/Blue team) and Cyber incident and Crisis response readiness (Playbooks, Crisis tests, etc.).
  • Identify & communicate information security risks relating to Information Security services, incidents and events advising and guiding senior management on the threat management and response capabilities required to protect the organisation.
  • Actively develop, coach and mentor security tribe colleagues through the mutual sharing of knowledge and experience, training and on the job development.
  • Actively monitor security entry points and help mitigate the crisis before it escalates.

Skills you'll use...

  • Strong inter-personnel, analytical & communication skills and experience of working directly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Proven experience of line management, supplier management and continuous development of operational teams
  • In depth experience of Security operations, incident management and a personal drive to use data, metrics and analysis to support service delivery
  • Experience of working with third party suppliers and business partners to deliver services and support investigations and response activities
  • Knowledge of IT risk and security frameworks and standards e.g. ISO27001, PCI, NIST, ISF, SOX. and key security GDPR privacy requirements
  • Ability to identify key issues, provide appropriate MI and communicate operational status and risks to stakeholders, leveraging colleagues as needed
  • Passion for maintaining technology awareness across a wide spectrum; Networks, security technologies, Cloud, infrastructure and platforms, automated software pipelines, etc
