Now a part of Vonage, Nexmo is the emerging global leader in the $100B+ cloud communications platform (CPaaS) market. The Nexmo marketing team is leading the narrative on how software developers and enterprises can reimagine, design, and deploy new communication experiences. We’re comprised of product marketing managers, partner marketing, growth engine experts, and content specialists who are charged with educating the market with what is possible with communications APIs.

We are looking for a Senior Content Strategist and Copywriter to support strategic product and brand storytelling across digital, social, and print channels for our EMEA marketing team. The ideal candidate is an independent self-starter with a passion for storytelling and a demonstrated ability to develop and execute content strategies in a fast-paced international marketing environment. This role fully leverages the work of the global Vonage content team for EMEA-based campaigns while identifying regional content gaps and devising action plans to fill them.

This highly collaborative role reports to the Sr. Director of Content Marketing (based in San Francisco) and aligns with the Head of EMEA Marketing (in London), ensuring brand and strategic messaging is consistently communicated across channels. 


What you will do

  • Fully leverage the work of the global Vonage content team for EMEA marketing, managing regional content localisation and translations
  • Identify content and messaging gaps for EMEA prospects and customers and develop actionable content plans to fill them
  • Plan for and craft effective copy as needed for marketing campaigns
  • Advise marketing team on strategic considerations and best practices for building effective digital content
  • Input regional requirements into content strategy and planning
  • Establish and evangelise content standards

What you will bring

  • Deep experience in content marketing strategy, channels and tactics
  • A solid background and understanding of B2B marketing, preferably in the API space
  • Great storytelling ability, an eye for detail, and a firm grasp on grammar and style
  • Exceptional writing, documentation, and communication skills
  • Equally adept at close collaboration and autonomous self-direction
  • Ability to "roll up your sleeves" and craft effective copy based on strategy
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills

What is required for application

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or related field
  • 7-10 years content strategy and copy experience in B2B product and brand marketing 
  • Sprinklr, CMP, Adobe Experience Manager experience a plus
  • Experience with content localisation and translation a plus
  • Experience with interactive content a plus
