The Cybersecurity Manager reports to the CISO. Under indirect supervision, the Cybersecurity Manager provides a variety of operational, compliance, and consultative functions. This role is responsible for managing the delivery of information security systems, software and services. The Cybersecurity Manager will work across IT and business department boundaries and fulfill a leadership role to drive cybersecurity operations initiatives such as security monitoring, vulnerability management, identity and access management, endpoint security, network security and application security. Oversees a team that supports information security systems, software and services for the enterprise Management duties include hiring, training, coaching, counseling and evaluating performance of direct reports Partner with IT Infrastructure, Network Operations and Application Support to design, build, deliver and maintain high quality, integrated cybersecurity solutions and services Responsible for cost center management of plan of record projects Manages at least a single information security function (or the equivalent capital and/or level of responsibility and complexity) Evaluates all directives, change orders, and projects as to their impact on tactical plans, budgets, and contract compliance Develops strategy for as well as build and maintain highly functioning programs such as security monitoring, vulnerability management, identity and access management, endpoint security, network security and application security Delivers organization metrics and reporting Program documentation including strategy/roadmap, system design, data flows, service delivery procedures, etc. Maintains excellent service delivery experience Requires BA/BS in Computer Science, Business Administration or related field; 5 + years of experience leading project teams and providing direction for professional exempt employees; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background Prior leadership or management experience with a demonstrated ability to motivate, coach, counsel and train staff Proven team leadership skills, thorough documentation and presentation skills, analytical and critical thinking skills, and the ability to proactively identify needs and take timely and effective initiative are key requirements of the position Strong experience leading projects, strong knowledge in security concepts, experience in production support, experience handling large volume of incident and service request tickets, strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong tactical planning, organizational, analytical and PC skills required Expertise in relevant tools and technical skills required with security monitoring, vulnerability management, endpoint security, network security, and identity and access management are especially relevant Demonstrated customer focus. Evaluates decisions through the eyes of the customer; builds strong customer relationships and creates processes with customer viewpoint One or more related certifications completed or in process (e.g. ISC2, ISACA, SANS GIAC, CompTIA, ITIL, etc.) CISSP or CISM strongly preferred
