Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, or equivalent project management experience in a technology/media/finance company.
  • 5 years of experience in field and customer facing role within account management discipline

Preferred qualifications:

  • Direct or territory sales experience and an understanding of customer relationship management and sales opportunity progression.
  • Experience organizing and delivering customer briefings and the ability to tie customer value/need to technical solutions.
  • Experience analyzing or managing internal investments.
  • Experience developing complex analytical models using spreadsheet software and using presentation software to facilitate communication with senior stakeholders.
  • Track record of managing a quota and achieving sales results.
  • Understanding of customer journey mapping and how customers buy.

About the job

As part of Google Cloud Sales Strategy and Operations, you'll partner with sales leadership to provide actionable insights and use a data-driven approach to sharpen decision making and drive deep understanding of our fast growing business.In this role, you'll combine your analytical skills and business sense to help drive and develop the performance and strategy of our Google Cloud business and ensure rapid and long-term sustainable growth of our Google Cloud offering. You'll focus on shaping short-term and long-term vision and trajectory for the business, through business planning and setting goals and key results. You'll partner with leadership to run a regular business review cadence and other processes to keep the business on track with goals. You'll deliver insights and targeted action plans, address specific areas of risk and opportunity, work cross-functionally and leverage the support of global teams for analysis and data. Lastly, you'll enable the regional teams with at-scale insights, analysis, and processes and tools providing thought leadership and input into global projects.

Responsibilities

  • Create the Americas Executive Engagement Strategy for the Executive Briefing Center process, preparation and briefing documents.
  • Manage the Americas Customer Cadence.
  • Be involved with the Executive Sponsor Program and key priority customer engagements.
  • Selecting program and priority customers across professional and corporate networks.
  • Briefing documents and executive travel to the field and owning the Awards/Rewards and Recognition Program.
