The Role

We are looking for a local administrative professional to help establish our community office for the Bear Ridge Solar project. The temporary Part-Time Office Administrator Assistant will have the opportunity to work in our Bear Ridge project team in our Lockport, NY office. The role will provide part-time administrative support throughout the project development, up to 2 years.

If you are organized, detail oriented, and always on the lookout for ways to be helpful, Cypress Creek Renewables may be the place for you. We are looking for someone who loves to help get things done and enjoys engaging with local community members. You will play an integral part in gathering feedback from the local community, answering questions about the project, and communicating with the project team.

More specifically, you’ll play a central role in the experience of our employees and visitors by:

  • Greeting customers/community members
  • Scheduling, coordinating, and helping prepare local meetings and outreach activities
  • Preparing and updating project documents and spreadsheets
  • Maintaining project-related records
  • Attending local public meetings
  • Shipping and receiving mail through UPS, USPS and occasionally FedEx
  • Helping keep the work environment well set up for employees and community members by keeping the tools they need on hand and the space maintained. E.g. ordering and stocking office and kitchen supplies
  • Providing overall assistance to employees and managers

We are looking for someone who knows Cambria and Pendleton and is excited to immerse themselves in Cypress Creek’s culture.

  • Ability to juggle several tasks at once
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Composure in the face of adverse circumstances.
  • Exceptional judgement and the ability to communicate in-person, on the phone, and via e-mail
  • Detail oriented with strong follow-up and follow-through skills.
  • Proficient with MS Office and Outlook.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and high energy.
  • Interest in renewable energy and development
