Description

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for supporting Sage Intacct’s strategic objectives by identifying, executing and launching new partners in support of our Best-in-Class, Marketplace partner eco-system, driving high levels of customer satisfaction and revenue growth. This is a fast-paced, high growth team – we are looking for a smart, driven, high-energy individual who is hungry to create tremendous impact and who wants to work alongside great people.

Responsibilities:

  • Play an integral role in driving the Marketplace strategy by identifying and executing partnership opportunities
  • Work alongside sales leadership and industry marketing to develop partner landscape in specific vertical areas (e.g. software, services, financial services, not-for-profit, healthcare, hospitality)
  • Develop and negotiate partnership agreements in collaboration with Legal and Finance
  • Collaborate with marketing to identify Go-To-Market and joint marketing plans and successfully execute for each partner
  • Guide partners through enablement process and lead technical integration reviews with solution architect and product management
  • Create and deliver enablement to direct sales and channel on partner
  • Drive measurable referral business between Sage Intacct direct sales and channel with partners
  • Partner with Product Management to target and develop technology partnerships that provide differentiated value to Sage Intacct
  • Nurture strong relationships with key partner stakeholders to help identify and execute on joint opportunities (e.g. monthly calls with accounts)
  • Work closely with Business Development and Business Operations on efficient order processing and fulfillment
  • Oversee Salesforce CRM customer data for accuracy and reporting

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, computer science or related fields
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales or business development
  • Demonstrable experience developing and managing partnerships with SaaS companies
  • Strong relationship building skills, creativity, organizational skills, ability to work cross functionally, exceptional communication capability, strong multi-tasking ability and a do-whatever-it-takes-attitude
  • Intellectual horsepower to tackle a diverse set of domain and technology requirements while specializing in driving projects to closure
  • Demonstrated commitment, energy, and integrity, with the ability to be self-motivating, and produce high quality work within established deadlines in a dynamic environment
  • Experience with Salesforce.com and Zoom
