Senior Associate, Work Center Technical Support



"(1) The selected candidate will be part of Data Engineering team to provide Tier 2 support for incidents related to customer´s Cisco network environment as well as multi-vendor environment.

(2) The candidate should have good technical skills, leadership skills, and good English communication skills to interface with US customers on the phone to diagnose and recover from complex data networking problems and restore service per customer expectations.

Roles and Responsibilities:

"(1) The selected candidate will part of day-2 support team and responsible to provide non-managed break fix maintenance support for multi-vendor data, video and converged IP CPE networking devices. (2) Support includes, but not limited to, 24x7 technical support phone support, parts replacement, onsite parts replacement support, network coordination, AT&T online asset management and other services. (3) The engineer will be required to co-ordinate vendor engagement for T4 support and followup till issue resolution. (4) The engineer needs to be flexible to work 24x7 rotational shifts and odd shifts to cover the business requirements"

Key Competencies and Skills:

"∙ CCNA Route/Switch certification and equivalent working experience. . Experience troubleshooting Cisco routers, switches and other Cisco data gear. ∙ Experienced with remote access tools and ticketing systems. ∙ Experience with Data Network troubleshooting and resolving technical incidents in customer environment. ∙ Advanced understanding of LAN and WAN Inter-networking Devices - Routing, Switching, Subnetting. ∙ Advanced understanding and working knowledge of the data flow between various network infrastructures and their end points. "

Education and Qualifications:

"(1) Bachelors degree in related field. (2) Cisco certifications are mandatory. (3) Good to have multi-vendor certifications, but not mandatory."
