Job description

Lazada Procurement is responsible for all purchasing activities in Lazada Group including but not limited as procurement strategy, category strategy, sourcing, contracting, PO, stakeholder management, vendor management and the relevant P2P guidelines and online or offline system, process and working flows.

The main procurement categories of Lazada Procurement includes Marketing, IT, Admin & Office, Professional Service and Logistics in all operating countries or cities as Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Hong Kong and Shenzhen

The mission of Lazada Procurement team is Efficient Delivery, Cost Management and Management of Compliance Risk. The Team is identifying and evolving best practices and transforming the organization to become a center of excellence and smart buy.

The role

In charge of all purchasing activity in the category of marketing procurement, including but not limited as category strategy, key stakeholder engagement, team management and coaching and on-time delivery to fulfil KPI targets, improve stakeholder satisfaction and minimize compliance risk.

Key tasks and responsibilities

  • Set up and Implement the category strategy including but not limited as KA/KP of stakeholder, business strategy, model and request, spending coverage, vendor pool and supplier management, how to smart buy, frame agreement coverage;
  • To go higher and deeper with all levels of stakeholders, know business knowledge, model, case and justification well through regular/irregular tight communication, reaction and collision.
  • Team management including but not limited as hiring, daily management and coaching, esp. for the virtual team in countries;
  • Management, contribution and involvement of procurement policy, guideline, platform, system, process and working flows to ensure compliance.
  • Very hand-on for business daily delivery and implement the full P2P process including supplier set-up, qualification, evaluation, sourcing, contracting, Purchase Order (PO).
  • Collaborate with in-country Procurement to implement regional marketing procurement strategies.
  • Co-ordinate with Ali Procurement to leverage and synergy about supplier resource, strategy and best practice.

Job requirements

  • Very familiar with the procurement bidding process, supplier management process, a strong sense of cost and sense of responsibility
  • Very familiar with the Marketing business and knowledge, online, offline, digital, campaign, event, partner, CPI/CPS etc.
  • Can work under heavy pressure and in a changeable environment.
  • Eager to grow, Integrity, team work, understanding of diverse culture and good at communication
  • Fast learner, and interest in eCommerce.
  • Working Length: Have at least 8 years and above procurement experience, focusing on marketing procurement, or from marketing/agency/consultant related industry, very familiar with all kinds of marketing activities with cost business acumen.
