Coupa is looking for an entrepreneurial business development leader to own and drive revenue for Coupa Advantage.


  • Work with the Coupa Advantage team and its supplier community to create innovative business models which accelerates the Coupa Advantage program.
  • Identify key supplier relationships that can be leveraged to bring incremental value to Coupa Customers.
  • Execute on new innovative Coupa Advantage initiatives to drive exponential growth for the Coupa Advantage program.
  • Leverage Coupa product leadership to expand the success and adoption of the Coupa Advantage community.
  • Work with Coupa Advantage leadership to find additional partners to expand the value provided to Coupa’s buyers and suppliers.
  • Become a thought leader and evangelist for Coupa Advantage through a variety of channels, including vehicles such as blog posts and conferences.


  • Minimum 8+ years of business development and sales/alliances experience. 
  • Must have firm knowledge of supplier and procurement organizations and the economic models between them.
  • Strong executive presence.
  • Expertise in managing multi-stakeholder alliances.
  • Experience in building go-to-market revenue models and relationships.
  • Equally successful at engaging with all levels in an organization (bottom up & top down).
  • Assertive, passionate, consultative, loves to compete and win.
  • Great at building relationships and working within a team-selling environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced and passionate environment
  • MBA desired or equivalent experience required.
  • Proven ability to create and execute on business plans.
