Lyft is looking for a paralegal to join its Healthcare Compliance Team. Do you want to shape the future of the fastest growing app in the US? Are you looking to have fun while you hustle? We are looking for someone who will be a part of the healthcare compliance team, which is responsible for understanding, communicating, and ultimately fulfilling Lyft’s healthcare business legal and regulatory compliance program support throughout the U.S. As a paralegal, you will be responsible for keeping Lyft’s healthcare compliance program processes running smoothly and efficiently. You should be a self-starter but able to take direction easily and with a good attitude. 


  • Prepare and manage files and documents, including initial and renewal provider enrollment applications, to help Lyft’s growing healthcare business.
  • Help determine which licenses Lyft must obtain before entering the healthcare market in a new state
  • Ensure that all of Lyft’s healthcare provider program enrollments, renewals, healthcare related licenses and certificates are kept current and renewed timely
  • Oversee maintenance of compliance records and data and assist in data gathering as required
  • Liaise with other teams within the company and external parties as needed to obtain or renew healthcare related licenses and enrollments
  • Assist team members with issues, questions and research related to healthcare enrollments, related licensing, and other healthcare compliance issues


  • Paralegal certificate from an accredited school
  • Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years relevant paralegal experience with preference given to those with healthcare industry legal or regulatory compliance experience
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate flexibility and prioritization skills to handle multiple projects
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Exceptionally organized, efficient and articulate
