About the Role

The Workday Center of Excellence works across various areas of the organization, including but not limited to Shared Services, Tax, Accounting, Treasury, Construction Finance, Development, and Operations. The team identifies and implements strategic process updates and system changes across the company. This full-time position is based in New York City and will report up to the Process and Implementation Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and carry out training on best Workday system practices across the organization
  • Develop and maintain Workday training materials, curriculum, and calendar for various departments across the company
  • Handle new hire system onboarding training sessions
  • Liaise cross-functionally to resolve root cause of issues
  • Review and develop recommendations to optimize current state global financial processes and contribute to improved operational efficiencies
  • Use existing knowledge of industry best practices to quickly comprehend and breakdown global processes at WeWork
  • Conduct external research onsite at other companies on Workday functionality and best practices
  • Develop comprehensive understanding of all global processes and a thorough knowledge of regional variances to amend global processes
  • Translate complex findings into digestible and comprehensive written reports, tables/graphics, and presentations
  • Collaborate with global process owners to aggregate and track issues/pain points and develop solutions
  • Identify and evaluate process challenges and present findings to manager in a clear and concise manner
  • Self-monitor tasks to ensure assignments are completed accurately and timely and in alignment with the implementation plan

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years of professional work experience in consulting or systems training
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
  • Working knowledge of Workday is preferred
  • Sound understanding of financial operations
  • Ability to interface cross-functionally
  • Experience optimizing existing processes and conducting effective change management

  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills with experience working across multiple functional areas
