Tenstorrent is seeking an experienced corporate and product communications professional with demonstrated expertise in planning and executing communications that drive strong business outcomes. This full-time position requires expertise and experience in developing and executing strategic external and internal communications plans, knowledge of the semiconductor market, and existing relationships with relevant media and analysts covering AI and semiconductor technology overall. Must be experienced with working with executives, collaborating with team members across business and engineering functions, and have strong organizational and project management skills.

This role will be responsible for leading regional and world-wide press initiatives and internal communications projects. You will be a key point of contact and relationship owner for both press, analysts, and partners and will help drive the successful adoption, retention, expansion, and advocacy of Tenstorrent hardware and software in the market.

This role is hybrid, based out of Austin, TX, Santa Clara, CA, or Toronto, CA.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead global and regional communications initiatives.
  • Think and communicate clearly. The ideal candidate will excel in creating concise communication deliverables that effectively communicate the company's message.
  • Build relationships with press and analysts that are pivotal in the success of Tenstorrent
  • Collaborate with partners, customers, press, and analysts to tell Tenstorrent's stories to the world
  • Excellent writing skills are required. Must be able to write press briefings, releases, and other materials and work with internal and external partners to ensure messaging is fully aligned with Tenstorrent's goals and strategies. 
  • Must be incredibly organized and able to think through complex issues and drive simple solutions and effective communications.
  • Monitor, research, and share relevant industry news with Tenstorrent Executives.
  • Manage internal communications projects proactively.
  • Support media opportunities from end to end including the creation of media lists, pitching to targeted media, managing the press briefing interactions, and building necessary collateral required for successful outcomes.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of an undergraduate degree in marketing, communications, or a STEM field (e.g. Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience).
  • 10+ years experience in the semiconductor or other similar technology industry. 
  • A real passion for getting things done in a dynamic sales and technology environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide thought leadership, think strategically and effectively communicate vision (both written and verbal) and influence cross-functionally.
  • Exceptional project management experience and development of thoughtful communication or marketing plans that lead to successful business outcomes.
  • A passion for technology, software and hardware, modern machine learning and/or AI trends.
  • Experience in managing people is a plus.

Compensation for all engineers at Tenstorrent ranges from $100k - $500k including base and variable compensation targets. Experience, skills, education, background and location all impact the actual offer made.
