Job Description

The Senior Project Manager has overall accountability for the successful delivery of key business initiatives related to product and technology deployment. Collaborates with all areas of the business, Product Management, Product Engineering, and cross functional teams, including Manufacturing and IT, to define scope, manage expectations, coordinate and achieve deliverables throughout the project life cycle.

Key Accountabilities

  • Establish and maintain processes for managing scope during the project lifecycle, setting and maintain project performance standards that meet a project plans timing and financial commitments
  • Highly proficient in managing cross-functional people, processes, and business priorities
  • Creates and executes project work plans, including tracking and reporting resource availability, and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
  • Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities. Establishes clear project roles and responsibilities
  • Balances various stakeholder relations and recognizes the value of diverse involvement in projects, as well as potential impacts of project delays
  • Coordinates the information gathering and planning for executive report-outs, project risks, financial requirements and expectations, and change management
  • Collaborates with Project Managers from across the organization to leverage best practices
  • Utilizes best practices and relevant technology solutions to drive projects forward
  • Effectively applies methodology and enforces project standards
  • Facilitates team and client meetings effectively, while communicating clear expectations through assigning task ownership, with timing, and managing to completion
  • Responsible for holding project team accountable for resolution of critical issues by identifying and escalating issues in a timely fashion.
  • Communicates effectively with cross-functional project teams to project identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • 5+ years experience with project management
  • 3+ years leading projects and ensuring deliverables are met
  • PMP Certification a plus
  • Experience with ERP and business intelligence systems in a manufacturing environment
  • JD Edwards, Sales Force & Tableau experience considered an asset
  • Highly proficient in Smartsheets and Microsoft Teams
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Energy and desire to deliver high-quality projects on tight schedules
  • Candidate should have strong and effective decision making skills
  • Ability to influence and build relationships and demonstrate leadership in all interactions
  • Strong interpersonal skills, positive attitude, an ability to engage and create trust in others to build and foster team relationships
  • Possess strong organization skills and ability to multi task
  • Strong ability to coach and mentor resources
  • Possesses general understanding in the areas of mechanical product design and product assemblies
