We have a career opportunity for a seasoned traveling Senior Industrial Project Manager to work remotely on project sites nationwide. We are seeking candidates with 10+ years of successful background in design-build construction management, including specific experience with large e-commerce facilities, industrial warehouses and distribution center construction.
Specific duties include: leading construction progress meetings; overseeing design development; preparing and managing project budget and schedule. Successful candidates will assume responsibility and communicate effectively and efficiently with supervising managers, superintendents, general contractors, subcontractors, governing authorities and owners.
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering/Management or equivalent experience required along with a minimum of 10+ years proven success in the commercial construction industry. Knowledge of estimating techniques, cost control and material pricing along with a proven ability to manage projects up to $100MM is required. Candidates being considered for industrial projects must have experience running at least 5 industrial projects. In addition, strong knowledge of logistics operations for large retail customers is desired, although not required. Candidates may be expected to relocate to assigned jobsite and may travel home every other weekend, or as agreed to.
