Underwriting Officer

Job Summary:

Responsible for performing daily case underwriting, handling enquiries from distribution channels and participating in underwriting related projects.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Case underwriting: including both non-medical underwriting cases
  • Handle enquiries from distribution channel via phone and/or email
  • Assist in any adhoc projects

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Degree holder
  • 2 to 3 years of relevant working experience. Candidate from life insurance industry or medical field is preferred
  • LOMA qualification is preferred
  • Customer oriented and attentive to details
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work under stress and tight schedule
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
  • PC literate in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing

Senior Underwriting Officer

Job Summary:

Responsible for performing daily case underwriting, handling enquiries from distribution channels and participating in underwriting related projects.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Case underwriting: including both non-medical and medical underwriting cases
  • Handle enquiries from distribution channel via phone and/or email
  • Assist in any projects including new product implementation.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Degree holder
  • 4 to 5 years of relevant working experience. Candidate from life insurance industry or medical field is preferred
  • LOMA qualification, FLMI is preferred
  • Customer oriented and attentive to details
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work under stress and tight schedule
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
  • PC literate in Word, Excel , PowerPoint and Chinese word processing
