We're currently seeking a strong Content Strategist to join our Brand and Communications team, playing a pivotal role in shaping our brand identity and engaging our audience across various digital platforms. As a Content Strategist, Brand at Rev, you'll be the visionary storyteller and writer responsible for leading our brand's content strategy across digital platforms. Working closely with teams across Brand, Growth, and Product Marketing, you'll craft compelling narratives that resonate with our audience and drive brand awareness. With your expertise in content strategy and B2B marketing, you'll shape our brand's narrative while ensuring consistency and alignment with our business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Brand Voice and Tone: Maintain and evolve Rev’s brand voice and tone across all digital content, ensuring consistency in messaging and brand representation
  • Audience & Market Research: Conduct thorough research on Rev’s target audiences, market trends, and competitors. Utilize insights to inform content decisions and messaging strategies tailored to digital platforms
  • Content Development: Partner with internal teams to develop, implement, and continuously evolve multimedia content strategies and messaging that reinforce our business objectives and resonate deeply with our target audiences on their preferred communication channels
  • Messaging Guidelines: Collaborate with Product and Growth Marketing to outline key messaging elements and communication principles for digital platforms. Provide guidelines for all digital content, ensuring cohesive and unified messaging across various channels and touchpoints
  • Messaging Development: Write compelling and persuasive copy tailored to digital platforms, adapting it to fit the medium and engage the intended audience effectively. Revise and refine copy based on feedback from stakeholders, partners, and team members
  • Content Calendar: Develop and manage a master editorial content calendar for digital platforms, ensuring a consistent and strategic flow of content across various digital channels aligned with Brand, Marketing and PR initiatives
  • Creative Alignment: Collaborate with brand and design peers to brainstorm and craft unique campaign concepts that align seamlessly with visual elements and adhere to brand guidelines in the digital space
  • UI/UX Integration: Ensure that digital content enhances the overall user experience and aligns with the design and functionality of digital platforms through collaboration with UX/UI teams
  • Stakeholder Communications: Communicate digital content strategies and initiatives effectively to clients and stakeholders within the organization, articulating concept alignment to business and campaign objectives
  • Content Governance: Develop and implement content governance frameworks to ensure consistency, quality, and compliance across all digital content produced
  • Metrics & Analytics: Leverage data and analytics to optimize digital content strategies. Track and measure the performance of digital content using relevant KPIs, providing regular reports with insights and recommendations for improvement

Qualifications

  • 4-6 years of proven experience in content or brand strategy development and execution, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Outstanding copywriting and editing skills, with experience writing for digital platforms and adapting content to various digital mediums. Portfolio required.
  • Experience collaborating with digital marketing functions including SEO, social media, paid advertising, email, etc.
  • Good analytical abilities to spot patterns and trends in digital content marketing data.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency with negotiation and mediation to ensure successful outcomes; facilitating effective working relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated highly organized approach and comfort with digital content creation, production, and distribution strategies/tactics.
  • Passionate about our brand with a team player attitude and positive energy, demonstrating great initiative and a get-it-done attitude.
  • Please note we are looking for candidates based in Austin, TX as this is a hybrid role in our office.
