Compensation: 

Salary Range: 

Assistant Transit Management Analyst I: $64,033 - $75,805 (TA)

Assistant Transit Management Analyst II: $74,347 - $82,804 (TA) 

Associate Transit Management Analyst: $84,044 - $108,818 (TA) 

Responsibilities: 

The selected incumbent is needed to support the Chief Officer, Field Operations and Subdivisions A, B and C. Knowledge of Dashboard performance. Experienced with Microsoft Suites. Create and provide data information via spreadsheets and the use of digital software. Responsible for extracting and processing data from UTS queries to reconcile overtime usage against budget/goals. Potential to understand and manage confidential information. Adaptable and capable to take on spontaneous tasks. The incumbent will utilize various NYCT proprietary systems to provide management with information needed for SOAR, IODs, workforce availability and positive compliance directives. 

Education and Experience: 

Assistant Transit Management Analyst I and II: 

1. A master's degree from an accredited college in business administration, public administration, public policy, engineering, engineering technology, economics, architecture, mathematics, physics, computer science, finance, accounting, transportation planning, industrial psychology, urban planning/studies, human resources management, labor relations, operations research, security management or in a related area, and one year of satisfactory full-time professional experience in the collection, evaluation and use of data relating to operational procedures, administrative systems, equipment and space utilization, and staffing requirements, including the preparation of charts, graphs, drawings and technical reports; or 

2. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college in one of the areas listed in "1" above; and two years of satisfactory full-time professional experience as described in "1" above. 

Associate Transit Management Analyst: 

1. A master's degree from an accredited college in business administration, public administration, public policy, engineering, engineering technology, economics, architecture, mathematics, physics, computer science, finance, accounting, transportation planning, industrial psychology, urban planning/studies, human resources management, labor relations, operations research, security management or in a related area, and two years of full-time satisfactory professional experience in the collection, evaluation and use of data relating to operational procedures, administrative systems, equipment and space utilization, and staffing requirements, including the preparation of charts, graphs, drawings and technical reports. One year of experience must have been in the transportation industry; or 

2. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college in one of the areas listed in "1" above; and three years of full-time satisfactory experience as described in "1" above. One year of this experience must have been in the transportation industry.

Selection Method: 

Based on evaluation of education, skills, experience, and interview. 

All appointments, with the exception of the Department of Subways employees on MABSTOA payroll, will be made on the NYCT payroll.
