SUMMARY & ROLE INFORMATION 

What you will do:

This role is part of our Cloud HCM Marketing organization and will provide executive-level support and business partnership to the CMO of SAP SuccessFactors. You will be providing administrative, planning and co-ordination support to our CMO and Chief of Staff as well as working closely with the leadership team to maximize effectiveness and enable them to do their best work. This includes extensive diary management across multiple time zones, handling complex travel logistics and acting efficiently as a representative of the CMO. You’ll be embedded into the HCM community and become deeply involved in Marketing leadership processes and the broader business.

This position reports directly to the CMO and is based in North America, preferably on the West Coast.

Job Role and Responsibilities:

  • Provide business and administrative support to CMO including managing a complex diary, travel and expenses and attending meetings where necessary.
  • Proactively monitor emails/documents/meeting requests requiring attention and help prioritize these with Chief of Staff and CMO as necessary. Proactively communicate diary changes as needed and anticipate and respond to scheduling changes or conflicts.
  • Support CMO on specific Marketing organization projects both commercial as well as People-related (especially those requiring cross-team co-ordination)
  • Work with Comms team to organize town hall meetings, team communications and other initiatives.
  • Coordination, support and development of bi-weekly/monthly Marketing Leadership forums with Chief of Staff, including managing agenda and actions.
  • Co-ordination of planning and review sessions across Marketing teams each quarter.
  • Co-ordination of any other cross-Marketing initiatives or meetings.
  • Organization and arrangement of offsites, internal and external meetings, including meeting room reservations and other logistics.
  • Collaborate with other EA’s to successfully coordinate schedules across teams. This includes SAP’s Executive Board Members and the CMO’s counterparts in Customer Success, Product Engineering and the broader SAP Marketing Executive Leadership Team.

A bit about you:

  • You have 5+ years of senior executive level experience as an Executive Assistant in a fast-paced company, ideally supporting a global team with multiple demands and a matrixed environment. 
  • You’re a self-starter and love to work autonomously but understand the importance of teamwork and collaboration. You’re able to identify gaps and streamline processes with little or no guidance from others. You use your initiative and excellent judgment to make decisions in an ambiguous environment. 
  • You’re able to juggle multiple responsibilities with unwavering attention to detail at all times.
  • You have excellent communication skills. You match your communication style to the specifics of the situation, and audience. 
  • You’re a creative problem solver. You think on your feet and find solutions to problems that are anything but clear-cut.
  • You act with total discretion and diplomacy and apply sound judgement in responding to circumstances.
  • You are proficient in using Microsoft Office applications and other collaboration tools, including Teams.
  • 5-10% travel required

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 72,300 - 161,100 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
