Role/ Department: Sr Analyst, Business Strategy/Executive Strategy

Responsible for supporting senior management in various business and/or corporate strategy projects, client and market development activities.

Major Duties

  • Assists senior management in creating strategic plans, including developing marketing plans in new geographies
  • Analyzes new business opportunities by helping identify, research, and cultivate prospective strategic relationships with various institutions, markets, and individuals in new and existing markets
  • Formulates and assists in the execution of calling strategies in both domestic and international markets
  • Analyzes industry trends, business performance, internal investment opportunities, and acquisitions
  • Operates independently; has in-depth knowledge of business unit / function
  • Carries out activities that are large in scope, cross-functional and technically difficult
  • Role is balanced between high level operational execution and development, and execution of strategic direction of business function activities
  • Conducts preliminary analysis
  • Responsible for direct interaction with different committees and/or management
  • Strategic in developing, implementing and administering programs within functional areas

Knowledge

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are required
  • In-dept financial analysis and modeling is required
  • In-dept knowledge of the Corporation¿s product is preferred
  • Analytical and problem solving skills are required
  • Technical skills / systems knowledge (e.g. Microsoft Office) is required
  • Strong process and project management skills is required

Experience

  • A College or University degree and/or relevant proven work experience in financial analysis and project management is required
