Principal Advisor - Processing (Multiple Positions) (Resolution Copper Company: Superior, AZ): Determine the viability of an underground mine and processing facility by evaluating and delivering process options, developing and implementing metallurgical test-work programs, and completing the related studies. Provide an accurate estimate of the future mill costs and performance in support of financial modeling. Identify the issues associated with mill design and develop a work program to resolve the issues within the defined schedules to complete an Order of Magnitude (OoM) studies. Identify the preferred processing options with consideration to NPV/IRR/PI/Capex/Margin and Risk. Complete the technical analysis and design on the key areas of study of the OoM processing and metallurgy program. Establish appropriate governance and assurance process to ensure best project outcomes. Ensure correct and timely alert and resolution of budget, schedule, testing, and design issues for all aspects of the Process Studies for OoM. Interact with engineering firms, vendors, internal teams, and others to facilitate the completion of the process aspects of the OoM and future studies. Supervise one (1) Metallurgical Engineer.

Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Metallurgical Engineering, Mining Engineering, or a related field, plus 12 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the mining industry.
Of the required experience, 12 years of experience must be in each of the following: Developing and managing a metallurgical test-work program; managing the concentrator design and engineering; metallurgical engineering studies; mill operations production; and, leading contractors, consultants, and staff metallurgical engineers.
Travel up to 50% required.
