The System Solution Specialist & Continuous Improvement is key in our Supply Chain organizations by providing the first level of system support on End to End Supply Chain related processes including SC & O2I. This individual is also identifying, developing, implementing and sustaining end to end demand systems and processes. 

The primary accountabilities of the Supply Chain system specialist & CI is to partner with external or internal business partner to improve our business processes, implement system projects under the Supply chain end to end system initiatives, provide end-user support to ensure efficient business execution, enhance end-users’ system knowledge and develop Subject Matter Experts, and improve overall system utilization.

The function reports to the Logistics & Supply Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate and communicate with internal or external customers or key stakeholders and escalate Supply Chain system issues as appropriate;
  • 1st level system support for resolution of issues related to Order Acquisition, Order Fulfillment, including: EDI, CRM, OMS, 3PL integration issues;
  • Coordinates with IT team on any system related problems and unusual transmissions between ordering systems, S4 and 3PL; 
  • Support SAP ECC / O2I / Planning / WM system upgrades and system implementation by participating in testing, validation and documentation, liaising with Customers, 3PL, Ordering and Supply Chain Teams;
  • Work closely with the team to streamline 3PL EDI integration and manage interfaces with 3PLs;
  • Understand the impact of significant and/or recurring issues, and work closely with the business to prevent recurrence;
  • Collaborate and Coordinate with MDM and Logistics to assure the right Data and Parameters;
  • Lead process reviews with the business and IT to identify gaps or limitations in the system, and define new, more efficient processes and system capabilities;
  • Develop plans to identify, train and retain power or end users.

Functional Competencies:

  • Knowledge of Supply Chain demand core processes, including Order to Invoice, Warehousing, Transportation, Demand and Supply Planning;
  • Expert knowledge of SAP S/4 and satellite systems including APO, IBP, WM, TM9, BI or any ERP system;
  • Strong computer skills with good understanding of system architectures; 
  • Able to grasp technical concepts quickly;
  • Data and analytical skills;
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills and communication skills;
  • Project management. Leading the work of a team to achieve all project goals within the given milestones.

Leadership Competencies: 

  • Ability to lead groups through problem solving sessions and meetings, identify viable solutions, and analyze the pros and cons of each;
  • Good oral and written communication skills, possess the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users;
  • Change Leadership. Must have the ability to influence and inspire action in others, and respond with vision and agility during periods of growth, disruption or uncertainty to bring about the needed change;
  • Challenge the status quo and suggest ideas for continuous improvement Continuous improvement. Curious about how our supply chain processes and systems work and is driven to improve them;
