About This Team

Reporting directly to the SSC Sr. Manager, Facilities who is based in Vancouver, BC, the Facilities Manager will oversee day to day operations of our US based SSC offices, focusing on reactive and preventative maintenance of our offices. This role will also execute a variety of projects from small renovations to software maintenance and implementation, to ensure that facilities is continuously running lean and efficient. Oversee and fulfill maintenance, furniture, and logistics related tasks in our offices as needed, overseeing any facilities related work on-site while delivering clear communication and expectations to all staff and vendors.

A Day In The Life

  • Oversee and manage operations team across our US-based offices. 
  • Coordination of Minor Facilities Projects; building out offices/meeting spaces, working with contractors/vendors
  • Work with landlord, their staff and lululemon facilities team on day-to-day operations and maintenance of our building as needed; including but not limited to building systems (including electrical, mechanical, life safety, security and miscellaneous equipment), general maintenance, daily inspections, grounds, and landscape maintenance as required.
  • Respond, assign and fulfill all incoming facilities requests through the ServiceNow portal.
  • Coordinate deliveries and installation of new furniture or equipment.
  • Create processes and procedures to accommodate our rapid growth and improve our employee and guest experience. 
  • Evaluates, implements, and supports security systems and building access systems.
  • Adhere to established metrics staying within financial plan and proactively react when expected financial guidelines are at variance from plan.
  • Responsible for development and implementation of facilities management policies, standards, and procedures that relates to their buildings. 
  • Coordinates work assignments among, vendors, and contractors. As well as the ability to orchestrate and manage facility projects. Well versed in reviewing price quotes for the procurement of parts, services, and labor in all aspects of building maintenance.
  • Research and implement new technology and specifications to improve facilities organization. 
  • Develops and maintains positive corporate relationships. Conducts client meetings on unresolved issues in an expeditious and professional manner. 
  • Complete minor maintenance and repairs if required and to best of their knowledge.
  • Respond to after hour calls and/or building emergencies.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable government regulations. 
  • Undertake special assignments and projects when needed. 

Qualifications 

  • 5+ years facilities experience within commercial and/or retail real estate
  • Must be versatile and able to manage multiple projects
  • Practiced in RFP processes, subcontractor management, client relations
  • Has the ability to communicate complex issues in laymen’s terms
  • Proficient in, MS Project, MS Office, Excel
  • Adept in cost-control management
  • Highly motivated, detail oriented, and dependable
  • Open to learn and accessible to all levels of the organization
  • Possess organizational, time management, and troubleshooting competence
  • Excellent team player, and capability to work independently
  • Superb communication skills – verbal and written
  • Travel may be required
  • Proactive and solution oriented

Compensation and Benefits Package 

For California Applicants: lululemon’s compensation offerings are rooted in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position in California is from $75,800 – $99,400 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our competitive Total Rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus offering, subject to program eligibility requirements.
