We have the chance to join our Customer Service team as a Customer Services Administrator and play a vital role in ensuring that our internal processes run smoothly to provide the best possible service to our customers. As part of our multifaceted team, you will be at the heart of our distribution business, supporting our Customer Service team with a wide range of things.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing all the unplanned leave - supporting the management team to follow all processes
  • Organising and managing resources for the team, including meeting rooms, hotel bookings and travel arrangements
  • Prepare and send daily stats to the broader sales and distribution team, highlighting any issues or points of note.
  • Organise and support all recruitment across the department
  • Organise and support projects ensuring deadlines are being met and resources are available.
  • Supporting with starter and leaver processes making certain that all paperwork has been completed
  • Supporting with the administration of the telephony and email system for Customer Service
  • To have a proactive role in internal and external events such as book sales, social impact work and staff social events.
  • Responsible for managing the audit outcomes and confirming all recommendations are completed
  • Collates and highlights successes in Customer Service, ensuring that these are recognised both within the team and across the organisation.

What you’ll bring:

  • Knowledge and experience in an administration/support role
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Exemplary communicator – both written and verbal, including being confident to communicate across all levels of the business
  • Experience of working on own initiative and understanding the importance of prioritising
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft applications – Word, Excel, Powerpoint
  • An individual who has strong attention to detail, understands the importance of confidentiality and has high level of accuracy 
  • Self-motivated and professional with a continual drive to improve
  • GCSE grade C or above in English and Maths

Salary: £22,000 - £25,000 depending on how your skills and experience align to the role

Hybrid working: While our offices across the UK are places to connect, collaborate and celebrate with colleagues, we recognise that flexibility around where you work is just as important.

For this role we expect that you will come into of our office, based in Colchester, at least twice a week. Working patterns will be discussed further at interview stage.
