MISSION 

Reporting to the Sales Department, your main mission will be to promote the CMA CGM Group's products and services to customers and prospects, and to manage a portfolio of customers for whom you are responsible, providing them with appropriate solutions tailored to their needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Develop and maintain the customer portfolio for all activities of the CMA CGM Group subsidiary in Togo (sea freight, logistics services, intermodal, value-added services, etc.).
  • Monitor information and competition, prospect new customers, and drive sales.)
  • Actively participate in the sales strategy to achieve the objectives set by the CMA CGM Group and the Agency's General Management.
  • Respond to and satisfy customer requests as effectively as possible
  • Conduct active and regular sales visits according to the frequency determined with Sales Management.
  • Receive customers in the agency with courtesy and professionalism
  • Ensure reporting, carry out market analyses and draft commercial comments
  • Produce any presentation, communication document or market study/business plan, etc., on behalf of Sales Management, General Management or Head Office.
  • Respect procedures and deadlines for the delivery of tasks.
  • Assist Sales Management with performance monitoring and reporting.
  • Collaborate with the subsidiary's various departments.

PROFILE & SKILLS

  • Minimum 3 years' higher education in Marketing and Sales, Transport and Logistics, Economics and Management, Statistics.
  • Good knowledge of the shipping business.
  • At least three (03) years' professional experience in a similar position with significant results.
  • Very high level of proficiency in computerized management tools and appropriate software (in particular Microsoft 365, advanced level).
  • Excellent analytical skills (statistics, market, economic data, etc.).
  • Rigor, organization, proactivity, self-control, punctuality, good interpersonal skills, boldness and creativity, communication and influence.
  • Good negotiating skills.
  • Bilingual French / English (spoken and written)
