Position Requirements

Key member of the NAPA Direct Shared Services team responsible for the creation, editing, governance and maintenance of effective and easy to use documentation and information for employees and shared services team members within ServiceNow and SharePoint. This position will play an important role in the growing Shared Services organization within NAPA, by establishing knowledge management document control processes and templates, building cross functional relationships with content owners across the organization, all while performing regular analysis, reporting and training as needed to increase employee’s use of self-service knowledge. A successful candidate will be innovative, flexible, self-motivated, and able to function in a fast-paced and fun environment to help us deliver accurate, mobile-friendly knowledge.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and maintain content on NAPA Direct Portal (SharePoint) by managing content requests and working with content owners across the Shared Services teams
  • Establish best practice for organization and security for internal Shared Services knowledge within SharePoint or other appropriate tools (Team specific sites)
  • Establish a document control process for both employee facing knowledge content, forms, etc. and internal shared services teams
  • While maintaining brand standards, work with leaders to agree to terminology and ensure consistent use across knowledge resources and edit all knowledge content for appropriate grammar, writing point of view, etc.
  • Create and lead the knowledge management transfer from NAPA Direct Portal (SharePoint) to ServiceNow, partnering with Business Technology and vendors to determine strategy, develop functional/technical specifications
  • Establish reports to analyze usage, spot trends and continuously improve knowledge resource usage

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Undergraduate degree in Journalism, PR, Communication, Web Design, IT, Human Resources, or related field.
  • 5 or more years of experience in communications, content editing, technical and creative online copy
  • Proven prior experience and capability in a professional web environment working with a content management system
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple requests and respond within appropriate timeframe
  • Advanced computer skills (e.g., Web/internet, MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe professional, SharePoint, HTML)
  • Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong English written and verbal communication skills with the ability to learn & maintain company brand standards
  • Strong planning and organizing skills
  • Initiative & follow-up, including a strong ability to work autonomously
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to negotiate, influence, and build consensus among peer subject matter experts at all levels across the organization

DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Preferred knowledge base experience with vendors like ServiceNow
  • Extensive experience managing content and security in SharePoint
  • Experience with Web technologies and driving successful communications through new technology
  • Worked with project management methodologies (e.g. Agile, Scrum and Lean)

This is a virtual position, with occasional travel to our Melville, NY or Sunrise FL office. The ideal candidate will be within driving distance to either office location.
