The Professional Services Manager for the Bronto division of Oracle will lead a team of consultants who deliver revenue-driving services for Bronto clients, in the retails and e-commerce industry. The manager will assist the department with various initiatives and organizational tasks, manage to annual targets (KPIs), and is responsible for team utilization and resource management, technical quality assurance, client satisfaction and success.

  • Hire, manage, and mentor direct reports (approximately 10-15)
  • Own the successful delivery of purchased services, manage client expectations and resolve escalated client issues
  • Manage and forecast resource utilization                                                   
  • Stay up-to-date on Bronto platform changes/new features      
  • Achieve revenue goals through support of the sales organization, including pre-sales conversations with prospects, solutioning for clients, and development of SOW's
  • Tackle ad hoc assigned initiatives/projects 

Preferred qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree
  • 1-3 years of proven team management experience, including hiring and managing to utilization targets
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and proven interdepartmental success
  • Strong client-facing experience including the abilities to consult, address escalated issues and solution through services
  • Experience with strategic thinking and complex decision-making
  • Experience developing operational processes as well as business forecasts/analyses
  • Ability to develop professional plans, documents and presentations for senior-level executives within client organizations and own organization
  • Ability to build and leverage high-quality intellectual capital in order to scale and create efficiencies
  • Strong project management demonstrated by successful leadership of concurrent engagements

Nice to have qualifications

  • Participates in driving new business through presentations to prospects and scoping enterprise service engagements
  • Expertise of understanding complex customer requirements and translating to technical implementations and experience with web-based applications
  • Experience in resource management, technical quality assurance, client satisfaction and success and revenue achievement

In-depth understanding of online marketing industry & relevant market sectors

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Provides daily operations management of a small team of consultants in providing quality work product on customer engagements. Has a working knowledge of solutions, multiple business processes or technology designs within a product/technology family

Supervises a team of consultants to manage the operational performance goals. Develops and directs work schedules and monitors workflow to achieve established goals and objectives. Responsible for ensuring the team delivers functional and technical solutions on customer engagements. Ensure that operational policies are followed and that business objectives are achieved by focusing on best practices and process improvements. Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices. May participate in the solution design and implementation aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high quality, integrated software solutions within constraints of time and budget. Provides coaching, guidance and feedback to develop skills of team members and take corrective actions to address poor performers. Performs administrative duties such as approving timesheets and expenses. Typically manages individual contributors

Coordinates the daily activities of a work group, setting priorities to ensure task completion. Provides technical/functional leadership as well as first line supervision, but does not have hire/fire authority. Working knowledge of product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus is important. Thorough understanding of Oracle*s products and services. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed
