We are fast-paced, innovative and metric-driven, with a team passionate for delighting our customers. Whether you want to work with incredible product selection, develop smart marketing plans, help us in our pursuit of faster fulfillment, or do something else awesome in between, we have a place for you. With locations in Seattle, Reno, Columbus and Bethlehem, our team is excited to be changing the way people shop every day - and we are just getting started.
Did you know that over 1/3 of zulily’s items for sale change every day? The Item Master team is responsible for the services that process all of zulily’s product catalog of over 20 million items. We process millions of changes every day from our merchants and vendors; serving up product information worldwide for our online store, warehouses, external partners, and distribution centers. We build our own software and have several hard problems we need solved. The Item Master team has a direct and measurable impact on zulily’s $2B business.
We are looking for a Software Engineering Manager to evolve Item Master to meet an ambitious set of goals for 2019. You will drive the product roadmap and have strong influence over the architecture and platform vision. One of your first assignments will be to aggressively hire and grow your team.
Successful candidates are passionate about large scale distributed systems, high performance teams, and operational excellence. You work well in translating ambiguous business goals and can resolve competing priorities from multiple business partners.
