Job Description

As Manufacturing Performance Manager within Global Manufacturing you will have an overall responsibility regarding the manufacturer´s performance, capacity and capability, working very close with assigned EMS (Electronic Manufacturing Service) providers.

Who is your future team?

You will be part of the Manufacturing Capacity & Cost team within Global Manufacturing, who are responsible for EMS Commercial & Performance Management, consisting of Commodity Manager, Manufacturing Performance Managers and Product Cost Specialists.

What will you do as Manufacturing Performance Manager

You will assure right capacity and capability at our factories as well as to identify, plan and execute on continuous improvements in line with Axis’ requirements, close together with skilled colleagues in the Axis Global Manufacturing organization, within the field of Quality, Production- and Test Systems, Product Cost and Commodity management. Together, you will also work cross functional with other areas within Operations and Axis, such as Supply chain, Sourcing, Industrialization, R&D and Product Management. You will be given a large opportunity to affect ways of working and how to interact with other parts of Axis’ organization since we continuously have the ambition to develop ourselves.

In this role your responsibilities will be

  • Manufacturer´s performance for two of Axis’ production sites
  • Evaluate the manufacturer´s performance as well as to plan and execute on improvements
  • Facilitate and lead cross-functional collaboration and activities
  • Assure sufficient mid- to long-term manufacturing capacity and capability
  • Monitor capacity continuously and match it to Axis’ forecast, including a flexibility buffer
  • Make and execute plans on when to provide the sites with Axis’ production equipment
  • Conduct business reviews twice per year with the EMS providers
  • Take active part in the development of Axis’ manufacturing strategy
  • Risk management within Axis’ manufacturing footprint
  • Drive projects linked to the production sites under your responsibility
  • Maintain and improve solid business relations with our EMS providers

We believe you have solid experience from electronics manufacturing as well as an interest in Axis’ products, and all the different production steps needed to produce them, together with a desire to learn more every day. In addition, you have a broad understanding of supply chain mechanisms and how these are managed.

We'd love to hear that you have

  • A degree in Industrial Economy, Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management or similar.
  • 5-10 years of experience from an Operations/Manufacturing/Supply Chain function from international companies.
  • Great people and leadership skills
  • Great project management skills
  • Great presentation skills
  • Excellent MS Office skills.
