Our Team

We are Sanofi’s CHC Ethics and Business Integrity (EBI) team.

We are a team of strategic business stakeholders who establish the CHC Fit-for-Purpose EBI Program to address CHC business needs and ethics, compliance and privacy risks and who drive cultural transformation enabling fast ethical decision-making and accountability. Our mission is to enable Sanofi Consumer Healthcare to respond to consumers and society’s expectations for an ethical and compliant business conduct and be recognized as a strongly ethical business. The Head of EBI France and Global Internal EBI Program drives the implementation and continuous enhancement of Global CHC Ethics & Business Integrity (EBI) Program, and in France, and drives the ethical cultural transformation enabling ethical decision making, conduct and accountability.

Main responsibilities:

Global Internal EBI Program

  • Drive implementation and continuous enhancement of a Fit-For-Purpose Global EBI Program for Consumer Healthcare. This includes policies and procedures, training and education, communication, risk assessments etc. 
  • Drives establishment of EBI related governance at global level in collaboration with Global Process Owners and other key functions
  • Contribute to the enhancement of the Anti-corruption Program in compliance with Sapin II Law and other laws of extraterritorial applicability
  • Drive cultural transformation through ethical culture initiatives and implement plans to address areas for enhancement based upon ethical culture measurement
  • Work closely and coordinate with Regional EBI Heads and Zone EBI Officers to obtain regional/zone insights and information for the enhancement of Global EBI Program

France

  • Drive implementation and continuous enhancement of a Fit-For-Purpose EBI Program for Consumer Healthcare for France. This includes policies and procedures, training and communication, risk assessment etc.
  • Establish EBI governance and oversight and chair zone Ethics & Compliance Committee
  • Provide strategic advice and support to France leadership team on ethics and compliance related matters
  • Provide ethics and compliance advice and support stakeholders for a broad spectrum of activities and brands
  • Drive cultural transformation through ethical culture initiatives and implement plans to address areas for enhancement based upon ethical culture measurement
  • Drive implementation of Third Parties EBI Program in France.
  • Work closely with the Global EBI team to provide zone insights and information for the enhancement of Global EBI Program
  • Work closely with Global Brand EBI Officers for coordination of matters pertaining to country implementation of global brand related activities
  • Support ethics and compliance investigations and recommend disciplinary and corrective measures
  • Perform predictive monitoring and other reviews to identify, detect, prevent, mitigate and predict risks
  • Drive the generation of meaningful insights such as trends, risk areas, areas of enhancement, root causes and outliers through data analytics
  • Drive and monitor the execution of enhancement/remedial action plans
  • Shape the external environment representing Sanofi CHC in ethics and compliance groups of industry self-care associations and relevant organizations in France

About you

  • Over 10 years of experience as an Ethics and Compliance Professional, bringing extensive knowledge and a proven track record of successfully implementing robust ethics and compliance programs at regional and global levels, particularly within Healthcare and/or Consumer Goods. Skilled at navigating regulatory complexities while upholding ethical standards.
  • Your cultural agility shines through your experience in multinational and multicultural environments, where you appreciate diverse perspectives and excel in cross-cultural collaboration.
  • In terms of expertise, you possess advanced knowledge of international business ethics and compliance principles, including extraterritorial laws and regulations. You're proficient in key legislation such as Sapin II and the US FCPA, with familiarity in healthcare-related laws and regulations applicable in France.
  • Your advisory skills are well-honed, enabling you to provide sound, ethical advice to management across various business matters. Additionally, you're proficient in using MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word for effective communication and reporting.
  • With excellent written and oral communication skills in both French and English, you're well-equipped to thrive in any professional environment.
  • Any healthcare compliance certifications is an asset
