Job Description

Keysight is a leading provider of advanced Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools for electronic communication and semiconductor manufacturers, chip designers, and R&D integrators. Our team of applications and technical support engineers work closely with customers to enable and debug their design flows as they use Keysight EDA software such as ADS, EMPro, GoldenGate, System Vue, IC-CAP, MBP, and MQA. Every day you will have the opportunity to impact the success of multiple customers as they work at the forefront of technology.

Key responsibilities

  • Enable Americas-based customers to utilize Keysight EDA tools to their fullest capability
  • Seek to understand, investigate, replicate, debug, and resolve customer challenges
  • Be resourceful leveraging solution expertise across the team and beyond when discussing technical needs and challenges faced by customers
  • Deliver timely customer support and drive customer delight
  • Clear written and verbal communication; able to explain technical subjects over the phone and through email and additionally author and publish knowledge articles for customer self-service
  • Update, create, and deliver training materials (remotely or face-to-face) on different capabilities of the EDA software products
  • Stay current on the EDA tools as new releases are made available to Keysight customers
  • Follow established processes for tracking and documenting customer interactions
  • Both multi-task and work independently in assisting multiple customers at a time

Job Qualifications

  • B.S. Electrical Engineering / Electronics or higher degree
  • 3+ years’ experience with Keysight EDA tools (e.g., ADS, EMPro, SystemVue)
  • Design experience working in one of the following areas: RF/microwave, RF system, RFIC, High-Speed Digital, Applications Engineer, EDA Technical Support, Design Flow Enablement, etc.
  • Knowledge of fundamental concepts related to RF/Microwave and/or High-Speed Digital designs
  • Demonstrable interest and commitment as an independent learner
  • Past experience with and/or a willingness to learn programming skills (i.e., Python) on the job
  • Clear written and verbal English communications skills, with the ability to explain sophisticated and complex subjects
  • Experience with presenting detailed technical information or leading training courses
  • Experience with sales and/or customer service; demonstrated ability to build relationships and loyalty with customers
  • Position requires assisting customers in the Americas region and will require working United States business hours
