Make a difference to the efficiency and profitability of the company by determining together with the HR line and business what the added value of actionable, data driven workforce insights in the several areas could be. To achieve this, you will be using your unique mix of technical, analytical, business acumen, creative and strong interpersonal skills to make the insights really actionable for the end-users. 

As People Analytics specialist at ASML, you will collect, compile, and analyze HR and workforce data and apply statistical / analytical models to derive actionable insights. In this way you support the HR line, business and other HR expertise areas to make clear recommendations related to for example recruitment, inclusion, rewards, workforce planning or retention. As the key specialist in the US market, you are responsible to translate the US needs to the possible people analytics solutions. 

Role and responsibilities

  • Prioritize People Analytics requests and needs from the local US expertise teams (e.g. talent acquisition and compensation & benefits) and HR line / business partners into practical people analytics insights. This could be both leading to scalable products and one-off insights. 
  • Create a US People Analytics roadmap with support of, and in alignment with, the global People Analytics expertise team. Bring priorities based on value / effort principles.
  • Manage execution of US roadmap, in collaboration with global People Analytics team specialists and US business owners. Part of this also entails the tradeoff between prioritizing ad-hoc demand above planned demand.
  • Execute hands-on people analytics solution building tasks: From data engineering to developing analytics and statistical models to translating and visualizing (in dashboards or reports) these insights into actionable output for the end-users. 
  • Identify and act upon ‘people analytics value drivers’ relevant for the US teams to further increase impact of the existing and to be build people analytics solutions. 
  • Have an understanding of the impact of data privacy and (upcoming) AI regulation as well as compliance with employment laws on the feasibility of possible people analytics solutions.

Education and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Actuarial Sciences, Mathematics, IT, or related field required.
  • Experience in Information Management, Business Management, Economics, Econometrics, Data Science, Computer Science & Engineering, Mathematics & Computer Science but also Robotics & Applied Mathematics or equivalent.
  • Experience in the HR function highly desired.

The current base annual salary range for this role is currently $106,125-$176,875. Pay scales are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.
