The F&B Marketing Manager will play an important role in assisting the hotel in achieving key objectives in line with the annual Food and Beverage & Marketing plan, current initiatives and relevant marketing activities relating directly to the hotel. This position requires a unique blend of strategic thinking, creativity, and understanding of the hospitality industry . The F&B Marketing Manager role involves independently managing smaller individual projects and overseeing some of the day to day administrative duties for the hotel.

What will I be doing?

As Food & Beverage Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the results of the marketing plan and activities used by the hotel to increase brand awareness, communicate promotions to all relevant target markets and address the hotel’s F&B business needs. Specifically, you will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:

Business Function

  • Execute and coordinate all agreed Food & Beverage Marketing strategies and monitor on going marketing campaign performance and reporting as directed by Line Manager
  • Support the Food & Beverage Manager by developing and implementing promotional activities, merchandising and collaterals
  • Execution of all marketing activities for special events, merchandising campaigns, exhibitions and property inspections
  • Assist with and at times lead on site photo shoots and filming whilst ensuring all relevant administration duties are completed and approved
  • Monitor and coordinate social media activities in collaboration with the Marketing and eCommerce department, as well as third party companies
  • Be a brand champion for the hotel ensuring all collateral conforms to agreed brand standards, using the right tone of voice and that content is compliant with corporate guidelines
  • Support and identify opportunities with the Line Manager to grow and develop loyalty marketing activities with Honours and other booker incentive schemes
  • Execute and implement appropriate use of marketing content, creative resources, translation and photography while optimising an effective online presence in line with regional strategy

Managing Execution

  • Develop, maintain and grow hotel databases to promote Food & Beverage
  • Monitor and review all concerned third party website content and ensure it is accurate and current
  • Execute and report competitive analysis on the hotels’ food and beverage and eCommerce marketing activities
  • Ensure the hotel has appropriate marketing content to include up to date media lists, marketing collateral, photo library, newsletters, brochures, desktop publishing and all matters relating to marketing and F&B
  • Support and assist management of all F&B related marketing projects including resources with budget implications
  • Produce tracking documents and hotel fact sheets including preparing PowerPoint presentations with excellent attention to detail as directed by head of department
  • Achieve agreed performance goals and Food & Beverage Marketing objectives of role set out by the Line Manager
  • Support the Line Manager in executing effective content management across all available channels, including hotel website, OTAs, social media, mobile marketing and partnership programs

Building Relationships

The F&B Marketing Manager role focuses more on self development as opposed to developing team members

  • Establish and maintain effective rapport and open communication with all hotel disciplines
  • Develop strong working relationships with various levels of Hilton’s personnel including cluster and regional teams and comply to Hilton’s core values
  • Develop and manage working relationships with key members of the creative and media agencies
  • Work effectively within the Food and Beverage team as well as supporting relationships with hotel and regional levels on relative projects and promotional campaigns
  • Excel at being an effective team player in all aspects of the role

Qualifications: Are you up to the challenge?

Education: A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is required. A master's degree in a relevant field is a plus.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in marketing, preferably within the hotel or hospitality industry.

Language Requirements: Fluency in both Czech and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages.

Technical proficiency: Proficiency in using marketing software and tools, including PR, written communication, website development, market research, software products, and creative services, analytics platforms, content management systems, and graphic design software.

Adaptability: Ability to adapt marketing strategies to different cultures and target groups.

Training and certifications: Any relevant certifications or training in marketing, digital marketing, or hospitality management would be advantageous

Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey marketing messages to both internal stakeholders and external audiences.

Budget management: Experience in developing and managing marketing budgets, ensuring cost effective allocation of resources while achieving measurable return on investment.
