We are looking for a talented Business Analyst, Requirements Engineer and User Experience Enthusiast to create a user-driven web application for our new data and AI platform for Supply Chain and Logistics.

Become a driving force in changing the way we run our business.

As a Business Analyst, Requirements Engineer, and User Experience Enthusiast, you will be responsible for collecting and understanding the user requirements that enable us to create a new experience in supply chain decision making.

In this role, you will discuss data analytics, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Generative AI and workflow features with users and translate the collected business requirements into technical concepts for data and machine learning (ML) engineers and UI developers.

To ensure success as a Business Analyst, Requirements Engineer, and User Experience Enthusiast, you should have in-depth knowledge of supply chain data sets (ERP, SAP, Business Warehouses) and excellent skills to combine with the decision making needs of users.

You will implement functional requirements for the application that meet the needs of the internal clients of our Supply Chain Intelligence platform.

You can create product requirement documents and maintain it in an agile working mode, e. g. in Azure DevOps boards and tasks.

You will plan the user experience, guide frontend and backend developers as well as Data Scientists to embrace the full user experience.

You will collaborate with global and regional BASF service units and an external partner in both project delivery as well as service and support.

In your role, you support the transition from project phase to successful operations for the new Supply Chain Intelligence platform, which also includes Generative AI features.

You will work in an international and agile DevOps environment and you apply agile principles for setting priorities and managing multiple stakeholders in a challenging business environment.

You will contribute to the communication with internal business partners and external vendors to validate the design & user experience.

You will work alongside an interdisciplinary and diverse team in an agile set-up to develop new visualizations of business insights previously hidden in data silos.

A strong data literate with a Bachelor or Master degree in the field of Computer Science, Information Technology Engineering, technical/natural science or related fields with strong affinity to IT.

Minimum 2 years professional experience as a business analyst and in requirements collection and engineering with strong focus on generating a good user experience.

Mandatory:

Experience in translating business needs into a solution design considering the implications on or limitations by the defined data models

A background in and understanding of Supply Chain Management is beneficial

Passion for innovation, curiosity and drive for continuous learning

Can-Do attitude with a creative mindset towards problems solving

Good Communication skills and experience in stakeholder management

Experience in agile working styles

Excellent communication skills in English

Ability to work in multicultural team spread across the globe
