Position Title:  Staff Programs Manager, Sales Force Effectiveness
Location:  Milpitas, CA or Reston, VA
 

The Staff Programs Manager, Sales Force Effectiveness, will develop, maintain and evolve multiple project plans, sales communications, drive Effectiveness to meet the market specific needs of the global FireEye sales force, and execute a variety of global programs technical, sales and channel effectiveness. 
 
Reporting to the Director of Sales Force Effectiveness Programs, this position necessitates strong program, project management and communication skills, and consistent achievement of defined goals and objectives. You will allocate work among project team members and provide guidance on a regular basis as well as help to define and drive process improvements, new product introductions (NPI) while conducting periodic reviews to ensure projects are on track.
 
The high-level, high-impact projects this individual will be responsible for will help ensure the success and efficiency of the organization, and the success of the candidate will directly affect the overall success of the organization.
 
 

Responsibilities

  • Create monthly sales communications to the field by soliciting the business for relevant stories and timely updates for the Field Informer and other communications.
  • Help to plan and execute a set of global enablement programs and activities – including hosting WebEx calls
  • Drive Onboarding program logistics, registrations, pre-work assignments, scheduling, and metrics
  • Curriculum design and develop for new sales role-based learning courses, playbooks, use cases and other key materials to enhance sales productivity and competencies using a 70/20/10 model for learning and development
  • Enablement program scheduling, coordination, announcements, recordings and key metrics
  • Be responsible for the FireEye Education Center (LMS), publishing courses and reports
  • Track Enablement metrics for all Sales, SE, Channel and Manager programs
  • Help program manage and coordinate all product launches, special projects and sales kickoff
  • Ensures all project documentation is kept up to date and communicated to relevant stakeholders on a timely basis
  • Work with a dynamic team to solve the complex challenges which come with a high growth business by identifying the target audience needs, content requirements, training, process and infrastructure to demonstrate and sell effectively
  • Use leading edge program and project management techniques and tools to create a repeatable approach and address innovative solutions to strategic challenges from the business
The Person:
Dynamic, multi-dimensional, diversely talented.  Has the ability to have fun and enjoy the work they do. Preferably experience in technical sales, sales, Instructional Design, Virtual and Face-to-Face workshop facilitation, and coaching.  Technically oriented with strong business acumen.  Drives work to complete with solid project and program management skills.
 
 

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of sales enablement experience or program management experience including program design, implementation and measurement for a software or cloud vendor
  • Strong organizational skills with an understanding of sales enablement, sales methodologies and sales process
  • Expertise with blended learning and active learning instructional design and development
  • Experience developing and evolving role-based learning curricula to meet organization specific needs
  • Ability to quickly grasp and understand FireEye’s business, sales model, consultative selling methodology, platforms, and services
  • Utilizes relevant project management tools, systems, and applications
  • Experience with presenting at all levels, up to the C-suite
  • Ability to effectively motivate teams to produce quality material within tight timeframes
  • Experience with managing global cross-functional teams
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
 
Required skills and competencies:
  • Experience creating and running SharePoint sites as a team site administrator
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience with key instructional design authoring tools (Articulate Storyline, Camtasia Studio, Adobe Captivate)
  • Proven ability using Microsoft Excel to analyze and work with data.
  • Experience as an administrator for business cloud software systems. (MS Teams, Showpad, Saba, etc.)
  • Ability to manage conflicts and build strong relationships with stakeholders
