What will you be doing?

  • Assisting in the delivery of digital acquisition across our core digital conversion channels – Display, Search, Social and Affiliates
  • Creating good working relationships with our counterparts in Barclaycard and Barclays UK to maximise digital acquisition 
  • Working closely with our media agency and insight teams to continually optimise channel performance and drive down CPAs, monitoring and optimising KPIs and ROI 
  • Assisting in identifying new routes to market through a detailed test plan to broaden our digital channel usage and increase our penetration into the small business market
  • Working with our in-house editorial team to deliver on-site content that fully supports our SEO strategy
  • Bringing together internal stakeholders, enabling us to deliver digital acquisition as effectively as possible
  • Ensuring and uploading brand, legal and compliance protection and governance
  • Being accountable for Barclaycard Payments acquisition budget ensuring full monthly reconciliation and reforecasting

What we’re looking for:

  • A passionate digital acquisition expert! Commercial mind-set, able to quickly understand the business context, objective(s) and identify risks and opportunities
  • Ability to maximise opportunities to grow the franchise in the digital channel marketplace, taking digital solutions from discovery through to definition, design and delivery
  • Excellent project management and delivery skills, credible understanding of digital end to end user experience and landing page design
  • Good people and stakeholder manager, able to collaborate, lead and gain buy in from stakeholders, including potentially leading key work streams on cross functional projects

Skills that will help you in the role:

  • Significant work experience in a Digital Marketing or Acquisition role
  • Experience in contributing to the development of a high performance culture within a team – making the team the best it can be
  • Solid attention to detail – experience in delivering communications that achieved the desired standards and effectively deliver against both commercial and brand objectives
  • Experience in Audience analysis, messaging, journey mapping, lead generation, marketing automation, and measurement

In the heart of Canary Wharf, our headquarters at Churchill Place boasts onsite amenities such as; a gym, staff restaurant and deli bar, and is easily accessible by tube and bus links. With a population of around 5000 staff the atmosphere is second to none with a real buzz being created around the offices within.
