OEM Senior Systems Engineer for Telecommunications Industry

This OEM Senior Systems Engineer (SSE) position is a consultative technical sales role to Korea OEM customers based in Seoul, Korea. You will be work independently, and in partnership with your OEM sales account team, to win new solution designs and sales business on Dell CSG & ISG (desktops, workstations, enterprise servers, storage, software, and networking solutions, as appropriate for our customers. This position defines the overall Dell Technologies solutions for the OEM customers and makes presentations on all aspects of company products and services.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Present Dell CSG & ISG (client & enterprise solutions) from a technical and business perspective
  • Analyze client needs and design/scope solutions accordingly
  • Assist in responding to RFPs from OEM customers
  • Engage Dell Technologies' services, software, partner ecosystem, security solutions, etc. to develop and end-to-end customer solution to meet specific OEM customer’s needs
  • Experienced with the application of strategic frameworks and execution of strategic analysis.
  • Experienced in the development of innovative solutions, systems and products to support Dell Technologies' objectives.
  • Ability to think out of the box to develop creative ideas and solutions based on industry and customer insights
  • Applies thought leadership to solve problems that are without precedent
  • Work with Dell Technologies' product group to develop products and/or solutions that enhance Dell Technologies' ability to deliver outstanding products and services to client.
  • Act as primary point of escalation of presales technical issues for the OEM sales account team in which you support.
  • Provide training and guidance to OEM sales teams and other internal business units.
  • Be a subject matter expert for client, servers, storage, networking or enterprise software to all teams within OEM sales account team.
  • Minimal interstate domestic & international travel may be required for OEM customer facing business meetings, internal business unit or technical presales training purposes.

QUALIFICATION

  • Minimum 8 years or more career experience in a technology roles including solution selling and technical presales roles
  • Having extensive solutions engineering & architecting experience in the Telecommunications industry applications
  • Having experiences in engaging & covering large Telecommunication enterprise e.g. SK Telecom, KT, LG U Plus, etc and the Telecommunication ISV solutions ecosystem
  • B.S in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or comparable
  • Prior OEM experience is preferred
  • Strong in one or more of technology areas such as client, servers, storage, networking and enterprise software
