Description
As a People and Employee Experience Coordinator, you will support key Human Resources initiatives across all levels and functions at Aetion. This individual is analytical, detail-oriented, proactive, a good problem-solver, and a strong communicator. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is hands-on, versatile & flexible enough to tackle a variety of projects while developing expertise in HR areas such as HRIS systems, employee experience and programming, and HR policies.
Responsibilities
- Serve as initial point-of-contact for all inbound employee requests and inquiries
- Manage ongoing internal communications initiatives, including the monthly internal newsletter, monthly All Hands (All Company meeting), and ad-hoc communications regarding People Team initiatives and other company updates
- Establish channels and programming to enable cross-functional communication and collaboration
- Manage employee recognition and acknowledgment programming, including quarterly awards series
- Own full-cycle employee onboarding process and welcome experience in North America including pre-onboarding processes (background checks), Day 1 planning, introductions to relevant systems, and 90-day and 1-year check-ins
- Oversee HR Compliance programming including Sexual Harassment Prevention and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging training
- Own Learning + Development programming, including Aetion’s Shadowing Program, Lunch N’ Learn series, and annual manager training sessions
- Assist with logistics for performance management process at Aetion
- Coordinate monthly Employee Experience programming including Employee Appreciation Day, Employee Resource Group programming, in-office events, volunteer programming, etc.
- Research and implement (with the People team) best practices for employee engagement and retention; continually iterate on existing programming to best support Aetion’s People and business
- Pull and present People data from various sources and for audiences across the organization on topics including Employee Engagement and demographics to provide insights into key organizational metrics
- Manage People team data operations and HRIS data integrity
- Support NY Office Administration including lunch, snack + beverage ordering, submitting maintenance requests, and liaising with building management as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 1-3+ years experience ideally in a high-growth, constantly evolving organization
- 1 year working at or closely with a PEO; experience with Sequoia One is a plus
- Ability to be in our New York Office 2-3 days per week
- Experience in Human Resources
