Overview

The EMEA Marketing Manager is responsible for supporting Cradlepoint and its channel partners in marketing activities in the EMEA region.  

 

The EMEA Marketing Manager will manage all marketing activities including lead generation, PR, local events management, digital marketing, creation of innovative collateral, localisation, agency management, channel marketing, and integrated campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Craft and curate compelling marketing messages, programs and materials:
    • Translate business goals and strategies into market execution plans
    • Build and execute an EMEA content plan and program/editorial calendar
    • Manage prospect and customer nurture programs with knowledge of marketing automation tooling, including Salesforce and Marketo
    • Manage contributions to key social media channels by creating relevant content and communicating market news
    • Maintain and update content for EMEA web properties and platforms, localizing global content as necessary
    • Design and develop demand generation programs, leveraging direct, digital, and events channels in collaboration with the global team in the U.S.
    • Create material to support presentations given at events
  • Drive lead and demand generation:
    • Organize and manage the presence of Cradlepoint at conferences, industry events, and exhibitions
    • Coordinate and support sales and partner events, such as VIP breakfasts, dinners and workshops and drive subsequent follow up activity to generate leads
    • Work with leads teams to ensure leads and opportunities are allocated and followed up on in a timely manner
    • Drive brand awareness and earned media through local market PR activities, including win announcements, the development of appropriate local messaging themes, and in market activation activity
    • Research, create, and manage paid media and advertising programs
  • Accountability and reporting:
    • Monitor event and program opportunities plus measure ROI
    • Create reports and report cadence on marketing and ROI metrics for EMEA
    • Day-to-day engagement with U.S. PR team to assist in local agency management
    • Research, identify, and exploit key events and speaking opportunities, as well as awards submissions
    • Budget and reporting management of local marketing budgets in collaboration with U.S. team

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BSc)
  • 7+ years marketing experience in a similar role in B2B technology
  • Event management and exhibitions experience;
  • Additional experience in 4G LTE and SDN/SD-WAN is highly desired
  • Experience in demand generation programs with knowledge of marketing automation and Salesforce
  • Knowledge of foundational marketing principles and programs a must (including, but not limited to, account-based marketing, nurture programs, and integrated marketing campaign development)
  • Experience in managing multiple agencies and vendors
  • Proven experience finding creative ways to do more with less and a track record of delivering results on time and on budget
  • Fluent English with exceptional writing and storytelling skills
  • Excellent organizational skills, proactive, and detail-minded
  • Website content management (Drupal a plus)
  • Public speaking and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities
  • Ability to travel up to 50% for events
  • Competence in German and/or other European languages are a plus
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written along with the ability and willingness to communicate at all levels
  • Able to take direction from remote supervisor and multiple Executives

Typical Physical Requirements:

  • Constantly involves sitting, talking, and hearing
  • Occasionally requires standing and walking
  • Must have sufficient manual dexterity to work with the fingers and to reach/handle items
  • Involves light physical activity performing non-strenuous daily activities of a primarily administrative nature
  • Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 20 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and color vision

Typical Environmental Conditions:          

  • May be exposed to moderate noise levels (i.e. computers, printers, or light traffic)

Travel Requirements:

  • Must be able to travel throughout the year.
