Storyful is an award-winning social video and news agency that sources, verifies and acquires user-generated content for media and brand partners. Our video team discovers, verifies and delivers the social content that matters to media companies and brands globally. In this role, you will help Storyful acquire the best video content in the world.
The Content Acquisition Agent will work with our Video and Brands teams to develop relationships with content creators and acquire user-generated video content in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. They will be responsible for the video acquisition process from finding contacts to talking uploaders through Storyful benefits to closing negotiations efficiently and effectively. The Agent will also ensure Storyful provides the best customer service to our content creators at all times. The ideal candidate should be organized, assertive and creative.
They must also have a proven track record of achieving and surpassing targets while building and maintaining strong relationships.
Build on existing and establishing new relationships with content creators
Manage the execution of licensing agreements with content creators
Manage all communications with uploaders from outlining the services Storyful offers through to questions on performance of their videos
Work closely with the operational and finance teams to ensure excellent levels of client satisfaction
Provide the team with regular reports relating to the video acquisition process
Achieve monthly sales targets
Skills and experience required:
Excellent negotiation and creative skills and an ability to see opportunities in new areas.
Proven communication skills, the candidate must be articulate and professional both in written and verbal forms.
Previous experience in sales, marketing and customer services is desirable
Strong time management, admin and organisational skills.
Excellent computer skills - proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint required
A strong understanding of all social media platforms.
Previous experience with CRM systems and web applications desired.
