Senior Administrative Coordinator, Oncology R&D (ICC)

Location: Gaithersburg, MD

Accountabilities:

As a Senior Administrative Coordinator, you will provide comprehensive support to the Vice President, Immuno-Oncology, Circuits & Engagers, and Cell Therapy (ICC / Cell Therapy). Your role will involve managing complex calendars, coordinating internal and external meetings, making intricate global travel arrangements, and handling sensitive information with discretion. You will also be expected to organize interactions with Key External Experts (KEEs) and analysts, prepare concise briefings, and maintain office and accounting records. Your ability to assess complex challenges and recommend solutions will be crucial in this role.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Proven experience (5-7 years) as a Senior PA / Executive Assistant supporting Directors, VPs, MDs or C‐suite individuals in a complex, international organization
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, two-year Associate Degree or higher preferred
  • Excellent secretarial skills and the ability to exercise sound judgement whilst proactively managing a demanding workload
  • Exceptional planning and organizing skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
  • Collaborative, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent knowledge of MS office, Outlook, Calendar, PowerPoint and web‐based systems

Desirable Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelors' degree
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience
  • Experience with event planning a plus
