THE CHALLENGE

Our Technical Consultants lead the charge with our new customers, helping them configure and implement their Lever instance while also bringing innovative best practices to the forefront. You’ll provide recommendations about solutions and advise the most successful ways to shape their processes. We’ll look to you to understand our customers’ motivations and craft an implementation plan and execute--and you’ll be doing this upwards of 30 times per month and identifying ways to maximize your impact, even from afar. Our Technical Consultants sit on-site at our Lever headquarters the vast majority of the time (so leave your suitcase at home!).

You’ll have the opportunity to understand what is arguably the most important function at each company--hiring--and the ability to set up customers for success. You’ll experience what it’s like to truly build something and push our company and business further. You’ll partner with companies  to help them grow and scale while also becoming a subject matter expert in all things hiring. You’ll become a product expert and remain incredibly close to our product and also provide invaluable feedback to our product team that will influence our product direction as well as your own work with customers. THE TEAM

The best part is that you won’t do any of it alone. You’ll be working alongside other seasoned members of the team who have helped build and grow the Customer Success function at Lever. The team will share best practices and provide advice while you’re onboarding, and then the torch will be passed to you as you become the go-to for mentorship of new team members!

THE SKILL SET

- 3-5 years of experience onboarding/implementing customers onto a technical platform

- Excellent project management skills; the ability to manage many diverse workflows and implementations at once

- The ability to interact with technical teams and run discovery processes; interact with internal teams to create a direct product feedback loop with the customer

- Experience working with enterprise clients (1,000+ employees) and cross-functional stakeholders

- Experience consulting clients and creating implementation strategies to address their business objectives

- Proven ability to creatively problem-solve in ambiguous environments

WITHIN 1 MONTH, YOU’LL:

  • Attend Lever’s five day onboarding program, Ramp Camp, with other new employees. This is a chance to learn about how Lever is built to serve our customers, as well as how the internal teams here function to serve the business.
  • Be able to independently answer 80% of standard customer questions in the support queue.
  • Learn the tools of the trade: Google Apps, Slack, Intercom, Zoom, Salesforce, Zendesk, Lever).
  • Learn about all things recruiting: metrics, activities, team roles, etc. You’ll do this by shadowing three implementation calls and two recruiter phone screens, in order to build an empathy for and understanding of our user base.
  • By week four, start to work on up to ten implementations and owning your first implementation. With support, you will do a needs assessment, account configuration, client trainings, job site setup and project manage any data migration needs.

WITHIN 3 MONTHS, YOU’LL:

  • On a regular basis, deploy your accounts within the team-wide goal of 60 days or less.
  • Be fully up to speed! You’ll manage up to 35 implementations at a time, and will complete 15 deployments each month.
  • Maintain a high level of data hygiene with regards to customers and your interactions with them; you’ll do this using tools like Salesforce and Zendesk.
  • Be able to transform and import customer data into the Lever product suite.
  • Choose some aspect of Lever in which you’ll be an expert and build out training materials to share with the team.
  • Provide a world-class customer experience by bringing a sense of urgency and acting as a trusted consultant. You will guide talent acquisition professionals through initial product setup, provisioning and through the early adoption stage. This will be measured using NPS, CSAT and product reviews on third-party sites.

WITHIN 6 MONTHS, YOU’LL:

  • Begin your growth toward your next role at Lever,  whether that’s as a Senior Implementation Specialist, Customer Success Manager or member of the management team.
  • Continue managing customers in the implementation phase of using Lever, and ensure the success of these implementations.
  • Develop a custom account plan for each customer you own; you’ll use email and calls daily to drive urgency, engagement and utilization.
  • Create best practices to increase customer adoption and utilization of Lever, and share those practices across the team.
  • Create relationships with talent acquisition professionals to learn about pain points and daily challenges; this will inform product decisions and make Lever the best product possible.
  • Help grow the team by interviewing Implementation Specialist candidates and train new team members.

WITHIN 12 MONTHS, YOU’LL:

  • Step up as a leader and mentor new team members. You’ll give them actionable feedback, teach them best practices and act as a general resource for information.
  • Continue to raise the bar, both individually by always increasing your own knowledge around driving adoption and utilization, as well as team-wide by identifying processes gaps and making recommendations on solutions.
  • Deepen knowledge of tactics to increase adoption and utilization within your accounts and share across the team.
