SUMMARY

The Studio Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of creative individuals within a functional area of a high production studio environment. Reporting to a studio manager, this role is responsible for helping their team achieve quality and production goals, controlling expenses, overseeing personnel and staffing needs, and fostering a collaborative and creative team environment


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES/CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Provide supervisory leadership over a diverse workforce and help to foster a collaborative, team environment that focuses quality and costs improvement
  • Elevate standards and work closely with studio leadership team to ensure standards meet company initiatives
  • Motivate employees and help them meet their individual professional and production goals
  • Work collaboratively with other departments
  • Conduct regular staff and one-on-one meeting with direct reports
  • Implement systems for improving workflow and that drive improvements to productivity
  • Assist with cross-functional projects to support Studio business and creative needs
  • Manage individual performance and provide regular coaching/feedback to align employees with business objectives

Qualifications

  • 5 years of leadership experience, preferably in a production environment
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills
  • Self-driven, eager to learn and goal-oriented with strong time management skills
  • Collaborative leadership skills
  • Calm under pressure, can excel and thrive in a high-volume environment
  • Proactive problem solving, both technically and creatively
  • Strong attention to detail and order
  • Experience in a retail or wholesale environment
  • Experience documenting and improving business processes
  • Experience managing software development projects in an agile environment
  • Experiencing managing cross-functional and cross-team programs
  • Ability to create road map and product documentation for senior executives
  • Analytical and technical skills enabling the evaluation of large amounts of data
  • Ability to dive into data to determine trends and conduct root-cause analysis
